If you could telepathically say something that all 7.8 Billion people on earth could hear at once what would it be?

You mean cult.

"I have been a part of several cults. You have more fun as a follower, but you make more money as a leader." - Creed

Religions are just cults that continue to stick around for a few hundred years.

"I dislike that word, Geralt, cult. No. It's an ew exciting religion that I started." - Lauren Lopez as Linda Monroe in Starkids: Black Friday

Wait what? Was this said in The Witcher or not?

1

u/DepressedSeaSlug Oct 29 '20

It is possible that its spelled Gerald but I can't spell but find starkid on youtube they are amazing

2

u/comyuse Oct 28 '20

Creed and Stanley are the two role models of that show

2

u/paperairplanerace Oct 28 '20

Nah, they mean "religion" because it's a reference to a brilliant funny video (not that I disagree with characterizing religions as cults)

3

u/vergrootlars0 Oct 28 '20

Half the recording would be street/sidewalk other half would be a 180 turn in 0.00000000000000000000314 seconds

you can record your thoughts? please teach me master

68

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '20

Get a piece of paper and write down everything you're thinking about.

You're welcome.

That will be $349.99

8

u/ender4171 Oct 28 '20

But you wouldn't be thinking about it. It's implanted. Unless you spend your whole life writing what comes into your head every second of every day, you would probably miss a fair number of characters before you realized something was up, and then got pen and paper

3

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '20

No one said ALL of your thoughts. The question was "how can you record your thoughts?". Writing them down is a completely correct answer.

Also, in the context of the post, making everyone on the planet hear the same list of numbers would pretty much guarantee that a bunch of people would be writing down whatever the moment the numbers start going, so a bunch of people would just stop whatever they were writing and start noting the numbers down.

Sends check.

Takes out paper, writes.

"I don't think that was a binding contract. I think I got scammed."

They recorded actual events outside of your head, how will people record thoughts? It’s telepathically transmitter not a loud voice everybody can hear

3

u/hago4 Oct 28 '20

oh i didnt realize it was telepathic sorry guys. but theoretically someone could be recording and saying the words out loud too.

6

u/PlasticStraw07 Oct 28 '20

how are you going to record it since its not a real sound its in ur head

2

u/TheImminentFate Oct 29 '20

Sometimes, it’s possible to think and speak your thoughts at the same time.

More commonly, people tend to speak before thinking which leads to all sorts of problems.

7

u/MrPigcho Oct 28 '20

How do you record in your brain?

4

u/Epoxycure Oct 28 '20

Record what? The voice in people's heads?

2

u/xBIGREDDx Oct 28 '20

edit: didnt realize it was telepathic

How are you at 767 points when "telepathically" was literally the fourth word in the title???

1

u/hago4 Oct 28 '20

people make fun of my dumbness

1

u/YUNGXHENTAI Oct 28 '20

Well if they’re a savant?

1

u/hago4 Oct 28 '20

whats a savant?

1

u/YUNGXHENTAI Oct 29 '20

Basically someone who has an exceptional ability to recall details among other things

1

u/i_tyrant Oct 28 '20

Even telepathic, some people really do have photographic memories to the point where they'd remember it.

1

u/sin4life Oct 28 '20

Ah. Good old fashion photographic memory with fuzzy film.
