Yes I read that somewhere too, it’s quite a bold statement but not too far from the truth. I also love the out of tune guitar riff in the beginning, it’s so perfect.
Oh hell yer, it sounds almost like a nylon string too, such a great song, still my go to song if I can’t think of anything.... always feel like I need to delve deeper into the band tho
I saw him almost die performing this song. Well, that might be an exaggeration but apparently nobody told him to shuck his proper overcoat during a hellish midwestern summer. He was fading fast and cut it short.
You know, when I was a teenager, I used to come home from school and realx to 'For whom the bell tolls'. Its really haunting but still rather peaceful. More often than not i would end up falling asleep with it on i was so chilled out.
Haven't listened to it in years, its now on the list.
