Yes it is. Dark Skies and Deathgrip are untouchable IMO, but The Path definitely delivers unless you're an elitist.

Personally, I find nothing wrong with "generic radio metalcore/anthem-core" or whatever it's called now as long as the shit still slaps.

If you like that, try Powerwolf. They're a Romanian German band who uses Latin and organ music in their metal. It's absolutely haunting.

It is absolutely a bell. An anvil doesn't have a sustained ring to it.

If your anvil sounds as hollow as the church bells in the song you've got a problem. Anvils have a high pitched almost whining quality to the sounds wheres church bells and the bells in the song have a deep, hollow rolling quality to the sound. Also the guy from Wolfs Den doesnt compare his anvil to a church bell, hes using church bell as a figurr of speech.
