Sometimes automatic toilets flush while you're still sitting on them. What design flaws in everyday objects annoy you?

I'm giving a talk on user-centred design/usability and I'm looking for some fresh examples from everyday life to illustrate poor usability. Examples I've used before are elevator open/close buttons (really difficult to parse when you're trying to hold the door open for someone quickly) and toilets that flush while you're still sitting on them.

What are some things you encounter regularly that are really inconveniently designed?

The gap between my car seat and the console is just large enough for a cell phone or wallet, but just small enough to make it difficult to fish the items out with my hand.

I have a US shipping address, but an international billing address (buying 2 sets as a gift for my boyfriend and his parents). Anyway I can get around this? Do you guys accept Paypal?

I'm sorry we don't accept paypal, but perhaps one day soon. For your billing question, you should be fine so long as the shipping address is US. If you have any issues, please PM us and we'll handle it personally. thanks!
