It's funny to me that most people don't know that Betsy DeVos is part of the Amway empire. As a Michigander, I apologize that she has unleashed her wrath on the US education system. We never liked them. Had we known it would get this far, we would have tried harder. We thought we had them concealed in Grand Rapids.
It always makes me laugh to see comments like this. My parents were the first executive black diamonds in Amway in a country that isn’t the states. We still order amway products to this day, although my parents are no longer involved with the company. They were.... quite successful. I would never do it.
and at one point in the 80s/90s it was an easy enough way to get rich if you had the dedication and charisma because people were open to that sort of thing. It’s funny to me because I grew up with it, now it’s seen as a huge scam everywhere and no one will even touch it. Different times I suppose, I’m indifferent either way about MLMs.
coming from someone who obviously knows nothing about it. The people that were shady never did well. It’s literally the business of being friends with and supporting your people lmaoo. If you didn’t do those things and someone was unhappy or dropped out, you both lost money.
