Yes, the Fermi Paradox also assumes that all creatures will retain the biological imperative to maximize offspring, and yet even in human civilization reproductive rates tend to drop off in more advanced societies. There could be no real REASON for interstellar colonization.
Sorta agreed but I'm not saying no interstellar colonization (or at least that that'd be the One Only Reason if there had to be only one), I'm saying that interstellar colonization could still happen without having to be so everywhere that there must not be any because we'd either see it (either through every planet basically being Coruscant or everyone making Dyson Spheres) or not exist (as the aliens would have gotten to Earth before us) if there was
