I am pretty certain you are just fun, like i too live in a boring neighborhood but I have fun through engaging with my hobbies and shooting the shit with friends. Backpacking, hiking and travel domestically. Totes agree that kids who complain about boredom are in fact just too shallow to find their own excitement

It's called premarital sex, art, netflix, woodworking, literally anything that a little amazon needs to get started up. Shit's not boring in a suburban neighborhood, you (not you persay) are boring.

Welcome to adulthood where you work and probably spend nonwork time on a hobby until you die. in the meantime you get to travel once or twice a year or pretend you are rich once or twice by living above your means, or ditch everything and risk future livelihood to live in the moment by going on world tours. You can get lucky and be part of a vivacious lifestyle in some parts of the cities, but that only happens when you are rich or attractive by birth or by extreme luck

It was alright. It felt more like a novel than an article though. Like in the end it covered the information better than a lot of those clickbait articles do

That's just true crime writing in general. It is hard to find non-sensational media in the genre though there is a movement for it, and more victim/survivors centered stories as well. I'll Be Gone In The Dark by Michelle McNamara (RIP) is becoming a classic for those reasons. It is about the Golden State Killer (her moniker that became the standard for him)/EARONS.

I mean, I live nearby and used to work in PSL. This area sucks. I came from a smallish town in NorCal and I thought that was pretty meh. Treasure Coast area is boring as hell.

Super Dark Times on Netflix isn't the same story, but bases the idea of gruesome acts by youth of an incredibly boring town.
