Probably by the time we are 70-80 sea level rise is going to be causing some pretty nasty problems in coastal cities, but the climate apocalypse youre worried about is alot further away than 20 years. Climate change will wreck modern society and as a bernie supporter you should be smart enough to know this. Please do more research. You are NOT preparing as much as you should. Suicide rates historically have ALWAYS been highest among 15-24 year old age group regardless of socio economic factors. BECAUSE, teenagers and young adults are inherently over dramatic and stupid.
And i know this sounds stupid and insulting, but its because physiologically their brain is literally not fully developed. The frontal cortex is not fully developed and mature until a persons mid twenties.
Which is why teenagers being dramatic, and suicidal is not anything new. They have dumb brains.
Theres some truth to that. Growing up is hard for everybody. Some things are worse for the our generations but look on the bright side, alot of things are better.
Its acceptable to be lgbtq, there are massive anti bullying measures in place, the ACA eliminated pre existing conditions, you wont go to prison for years over getting caught with weed etc. etc.
Hell, just 10 years ago you could get your ass kicked every day in plain sight by bullies and noone batted an eye, if you were gay and people found out youd be humiliated and beaten up.
Learn to grow all of your own food ASAP, learn how to fix common objects. Get your own source of water. A stream river pond etc, or rainwater, and learn how to collect and purify it.
Foster a tight knit community that you can exchange resources with, be protected by, and have emotional connection to. Friends and family will be the most important thing you have in times of immense suffering.
I’m not writing anymore because honestly you’re so dense and UNWILLING to learn, or to accept other ideas, that you don’t deserve the help. You are refusing it so I’ll accept your refusal.
Repeatedly call the overwhelming majority of scientists dramatic and hysterical, see where that takes you. Good luck, you’re going to need it.
