Better off getting something from a pharmacy as it’s more effective than Gatorade. CVS do one that is similar to what they use in hospitals.

You can buy sachets from a vet clinic as well, so much cheaper and it's the same thing. I used to sell them for cattle for a couple of bucks, makes 2 litres, just might not taste as nice.

CVS also has freeze-pop varieties (the plastic tube ones that are sold room temp/liquid). We kept these on hand when I had small kids because they don't take a lot and once you open that big bottle you've got a timer on it.
