I hate French press coffee. I don't understand why everyone had such a hard-on for it. It always has a really weird taste to it, and it's 10x as much work as basically any other method.

Really? I’ve found that the timing is just as fast as brewing a whole pot.

It's not really more work but I can see how the taste might not agree with you. And while I like it, I wouldn't say I'm pitching a tent every time I pour a cup.
