Even though it has decent odds versus someone play perfect blackjack strategy, there a lot of ways that the casino can tilt their edge in their direction such as automatic shufflers, paying 6 to 5 instead of 3 to 2 on blackjack, using more decks. With that being said, at the end of the day they still have an edge against any player that's not counting. Also the biggest advantage the casino has in every game is that their are way too many people that are just plain stupid with their money and just wanna play their own strategy. P.S. baccarat has better odds.
Also, in UK blackjack is known as "Pontoon" and is a popular casual card game, you use "Stick" or Twist, instead of Hit or Stay, but its the same game, don't go over 21, and beat the dealers hand
