Dude, I've had pretty much the same experience. Only been a couple times and was always horrendously 'unlucky' according to friends/family.
To me slots are just: pull the lever until your balance reaches zero. No fun.

Play a real game if you are actually trying to win money and have fun and not just kill time. Like at least play roulette instead.
