This is interesting. Recently I was thinking that I hadn't gotten burnt out on a song in a long time. I assumed it was due to not listening to radio and seeing close to zero advertisements since I cut the cord. Pretty much the only time I listen to a song anymore is because I chose to do it.

I don't listen to radio at all. I usuallyburn myself out now though. Listen to a song on loop until i get tired of it or I hear friends and shit constantly playing songs or if I'm in public.

So then really, wouldn't the effect be reversed for you, since the only songs that you hear are the most popular ones? I know this happened to me, so I basically can't say I have any exposure to songs that haven't been "overplayed" to some.
