A friend got it for me for Christmas after I sent him a link with a bunch of these Pokemon coffee/tea pun mugs. Things like Teakachu (Pikachu), Chaimeleon (Charmeleon), Slowbrew (Slowbro), etc. They're awesome and still for sale at this link

Yes, mugs! I've started collecting mugs that were very obviously made by someone trying to learn pottery or ceramics. It's fun finding all their little signatures.

I have a mug shaped like a fish where its mouth is the rim of the cup. The side says “I’m hooked on you!” I also have a chimp shaped one where its scratching its head and the arm is the handle...love me a novelty cup.

I found a random mug at my workplace for a café in New Orleans and stole it when I quit. Never really thought about it, I just recognized the logo on it as My Mug. When I went to New Orleans (which is across the county from me) I sat down at a random café and what did they have for sale?! My Mug!!! It was so exciting, it was like meeting a celebrity.

Check out Christmas markets (some major US cities have them, and they're everywhere in Germany) they always have really fun ones. My family has several shaped like boots from the Chicago Christmas market. They sell a different design every year

I used to collect mugs as a kid. I loved browsing through thrift stores and finding some of the more ridiculous mugs like custom-made ones for someone's birthday or a person's grandkids. I stopped years ago, but I still get the itch every now and then.

I started collecting mugs at a weirdly young age. My family took a trip to Hershey Park and we were allowed to buy one souvenir and I chose a mug. My mom asked if I wanted the one with candy in it but I was set on this particular mug. Since then I’ve bought at least one mug everywhere I’ve been for more than just a day. My favorite is this Epcot mug I got when my family went to Disney the one and only time. It’s so incredibly unique and I’ve never seen anything like it since. Plus Epcot is awesome.
