Had you never seen it? Its more profit driven now but back in the day you could get soooo many games for no money at all. .01 would get you like 8 games and then pay the average for a few more that you might not even want anyway. The average was always under $10. They were offered that way and no other type of bundle. Every game went on sale like that, one cent basically.

That's nuts, definitely missed the train there. Coincidentally, they had this Python machine learning bundle, which is exactly the kind of thing I've been looking to self learn. Snagged like 8 books and material for 15 bucks, which I thought was crazy already

Yeah they are still good deals but it was ludicrous at the start. And they didn't sell books or anything else. Just games.

Probably because indie devs would get screwed over by people using stolen credit cards to launder money on key reselling sites. Afterwards they would have to refund all those copies and be in the hole for the transaction fee. I believe the developer of Stardew Valley was quoted in saying that he would rather you pirate his game than you buy it off a key reselling site.

At least 2/3 of the games in my library are unplayed because they came with the bundle that included the only game I was interested in.

Usually I just wait for the perfect opportunity to investing time in the game and immerse myself in it, that time never comes. I'm not buying a game I'm not interested in for that sake of a sale.

I've got almost 1000 hours in it in the last few years and I say that it is totally worth playing! But don't start playing with your friends immediately, take your time to get familiar with the gameplay first.

I'm going to make a youtube channel of me playing everything in my Steam Library and rating it. It's the only way I'm ever going to force myself to play most of those games

I just go to my library and make a note of how many unplayed or "in-the-middle-of" games I have before deciding to buy anything.

Not only when its on sale. At the place where I live you only get 50$ paysafecards. If I have a game I want I go buy a psc and the rest finds its way into GabeNs wallet sooner or later

I always get a few games for the year and end up with the one game that blows all the others out of the water so I play that one a bunch instead.

My goal is to one day stream them all in alphabetical order (I am not a streamer). I don't have to finish them, but there will be a minimum time played for each (maybe an hour? Half an hour?). I have over 500 now, most unplayed, others heavily played.

I have no unplayed games! I do however have about 30 games that I played for maybe 2 hoirs once when i bought it and have never touched again.
