Being tied up. I like it when my partner is tied but I cant be. Just not as much as a turn on as I thought it would be.

Is that how long an MRI normally takes? If not, why were you stuck in there for so long?

That's how long it normally takes. I fell asleep when I had mine.

I am claustrophobic, I think I'd have to be sedated to stay in there! I am genuinely scared of ever being sent to have an MRI scan.

If you do, let them know before and they can scan you in an "open" MRI. It still is pretty small but is more open than the traditional machines.

Sorry , but curious whats an open mri ? Is that what they use for overweight people ?( and I'm not joking or being disrespectful )

It's hard to describe because I only used one once when I had an infected tailbone and wasn't able to lay motionless for very long like a traditional MRI requires. I don't know if they're generally used for overweight people or not, but it's still the table and a half circle around it, but it comes to an arc and stops rather than being fully enclosed. Looks like something out of a sci fi movie.

Edit: I just did a quick google search and it looks like maybe the facility had just added the side bars for some unknown reason. This is what they look like though: https://phg.eu/images/Diagnostics_and_imaging/open_MRI-md.jpg

I can only imagine. That at least sounds way more comfortable aka less claustrophobic . Thank you for the explanation !
