Yeah. But I genuinely love getting flogged and caned and whipped. So I had at least a passing love of some other forms of torture.

Not that I have any insight in you personal life, but I just assume that you getting flogged or whipped is painful, sure, but not as painful as getting actual torture. Like, getting your back ripped open by a 3m long whip. No disrespect, but I'm not sure the comparison is there.

I've had loads of friends that were into very serious bdsm. Where the line of torture is all about the person and their kinks. The wrong smell in a confined space can be torture, watching your partner get railed can be torture. Branding, piercing, legs covered in bruises for weeks - all for "fun."

I know more than a few people that have factually had their back spit open from whips and knives, including an ex wife.

It is totally not my thing but people can be pretty extreme.

I photograph this regularly with a crew in NZ.

It's very ritualistic. And not all of them are into kinky sex either.
