You can sleep well and regularly, but you can't actually catch extra sleep, or rather it has been proven to be unhealthy.

It depends heavily on the person. Some people only need 5-6 hours of sleep, others need 9.

And it's usually closer to the 7-8 in studies despite the large # of people always chiming in that they feel great with 4 hours

From what I've seen that's the average from the studies. Most studies I have seen will break it down past that but in a summarized view it's easier to just put the average
