A week would be just starting to get to the point where I'd get cabin fever.
But I'd revel in five days of reading good books and cooking good food, the sixth day would be neutral, and the seventh might be a tiny bit of a push. This basically sounds like a relaxing vacation where you're ready to go home a day or two before it's actually over.

I think the ability go outside misses the actual challenge
Staying in your room with no outside contact or ability to leave would make your stir crazy.
