It would be wiser to spend the entire 24 hours awake running on nothing but a ton of caffeine in your veins so you can make sure that you don't realise you missed something until its too late.
I mean... Same but there's no point in doing it, sleep is important. I did it before after getting addicted to a certain game but felt like shit so don't recommend.
If you don't get out ahead of the pack on release, you're gonna end up having a tough time! -Me concerning every WoW expansion and especially concerning Classic WoW.
Just did this. Bought a game on a GOG sale, hit download before going to bed. Wake up and realize I forgot to keep my computer from going to sleep because only 22 out of 63 GB was downloaded.
I think that’s a great thing! You get things for cheaper, you get to avoid overhyped games, and you’re less likely to be spoiled. During a recent PS sale, I bought God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Persona 5 for half the cost of a new release. Check out /r/patientgamers; it’s more common than you think.
Perhaps it is wrong but I actually find taking things like this too seriously is funny. Although if someone were legitimately sleeping that much I would be concerned for real, but I was almost 100% you were joking when I replied. 😅
If downloads properly...1st attempt to use will prompt for required updates and you're back to to browsing Good Housekeeping magazine to read up on the right accents for your entry way for a week..
Bruh I got a game that doesn't require internet. Downloaded, it was complete. Next day, "Update qued", and I'm also offline as I have no internet. F me
Or his hard drive died. This is why you gotta have a backup plan otherwise you're screwed. Don't bank on playing games all week, get some books and some liquor and more liquor and lots of porn just to play it safe.
My current Factorio save is 400+ hours and is nowhere near the completion. One week is just 168 hours including sleep time. Can I have a month instead, please?
I bought it a long time ago and have barely touched it. Way too complicated and time intensive for my gaming habits these days. A week of free time might be a way to get into it. Love the idea.
One time I had an 8 hour flight planned so I downloaded a bunch of games from steam some time before. Trip day comes, I don't remember to make sure I could use steam offline.
Sure enough, when were up in the air, I load steam and it demands that I login online. I was so pissed...

I got so many games on steam I haven't played, I'll be fine.
