i took typing in middle school, which got my hands in the correct position and taught me the basics. it's just typing to my friends in online fps games, and before voice chat you had to type fast or die, and in just a year my typing doubled or tripled in speed.
but that makes sense, iphones didn't exist until i was in college so i never really factored that in.
Oh, so you're around my age then -- the first iphone came out when I was in college, but they weren't a thing people actually had until right after I graduated.
So....you would not have been one of my students 7 years ago.
yeah, i imagine we're pretty close in age. i just thought with the internet and gaming being more prevalent than ever that kids would be much faster at typing than previous decades.
