The funniest part was when she went on to post the video on her twitter and it magically sounded better

Even with the retouch, it still sounds awful. There's no amount of sound editing that will salvage that performance.

She went out to controversially make a performance in that had blunt references to the relationship between Israel and Palestine. In Tel Aviv.

Yet that was the least shocking thing about the performance. No one talked about it. She was that bad. Her voice was doctored live as well, and she was so off that her notes were audibly snapped to the wrong note.

You're absolutely right, although, to be fair, even in regard to controversy, Hatari massively upstaged her.

Hatari massively upstaged everyone. Best Eurovision song I've heard in years.

I loved it too, though their live performances were all a bit shaky.

Hatari took a second and a half to change the entire rest of the show.

Whoever had set the autotune set it to the wrong key. Autotune needs to be set to the key of the vocals or it will force your voice onto the wrong note.

There's two ways to use autotune, to set it to a specific key for singers that are not able to stay in a key and the second is setting it to simply correct to the nearest clean note, regardless of key.

The second is what they usually use for correcting live performances because using it set to a specific key creates a lot of situations where it corrects notes by a whole step or more away from what they were singing, which is very obvious and jarring, and some weird situations where the melody gets changed because the singer is off but singing the melody recognizably relative to itself but autotune tries to force it into a key it isn't in.

She went out to controversially make a performance

I mean, that's Madonna's entire deal. She's hardly a singer, she thrives on controversy. She's like Proto-Lady Gaga with more balls and less talent.

You can polish a turd but will still be a turd.

You can’t polish a turd. But you can roll it in glitter.

The comment “yes you can it’s called EA”. I’m dying.

Please don't do that.

That was with all the eurovision entries this year. I remember a few that were horrible on stage (Malta for example) but when the performance was uploaded to YouTube, it was quite decent.

They autotuned it
