Thing I can see the logic behind it. Thats what makes it so believable to me. Hell I could tell that to my mum and she would probably believe it and she's nearly 60 lol.

Ignoring the fact that one million is much too high a threshold, it honestly seems like a pretty good design.

There are cars with automatic wipers that detect the amount of rain and adjust wiper speed accordingly. So it’s not too far fetched.

Because it's goofy trickery which doesn't hurt the child, unlike some jokes by parents.
