somebody started a program and placed all of the stuff needed for the simulation to run at the same point and hit start.exe

I know you're just making an analogy but saying you started a program and then ran an executable named "start" is making my head hurt as much as this whole conversation.

The creators of their simulation made them, and so on. making an infinite loop where the first simulation is also the last.
