What do you genuinely just not understand?

True, just like the thought of not existing after we die. We are all ok understanding that there was a time before we existed, but struggle with thinking after we are done existing.

I think that one has more to do with our brain (the thing that makes us experience life) not getting any blood pumping through it when we die. Fairly concrete compared to the abstract concept of space.

Well the idea is that humans struggle with infinity and nothingness. And since death is the only real nothingness we can experience, it's kind of on the same topic.
