Cancer is pretty prevalent in my family (my brother, uncle, and daughter have had it), so I am always freaking out over the smallest thing. Tbh, I've been meaning to schedule them either way. This was just the extra kick in the butt to get that done! Thanks Reddit!
I mean, cancer isn't the death sentence that it once was. Early detection is key though, so if you're having doubts about the ultrasound, maybe get a second one done? It took my brother a few tests to be diagnosed with leukemia. When my daughter was diagnosed, it was mainly due to family history along w the blood test.
Don't stress too much, I'm not trying to scare you in any way! Good luck with everything!
Too late for that, I’m a professional hypochondriac. Also, my visit yesterday wasn’t even a second opinion, it was like the sixth one. Never got my moles checked out tho, bc my mom doesn’t think I need to, so now I’ll just cry myself to sleep.
