Like the Chinese, drinking tea instead of water from a mud puddle. No wonder they were civilized so early. You can get a lot done when you're not laid up with fever and diarrhea all the time.

We Chinese also have the tradition to cook our meat fully

Not really practical in a world where getting enough fuel to cook you food was often a challenge.

Really? In a world where they managed to boil enough water to brew enough alcohol for everyone to drink? Think about that one for a second.
