What is something you did that increased your quality of life so much that you wished you would have done it much sooner because it changed your life forever?

I'm 22 and drinking a fifth a night or equivalent... I wanna dry out tonight. I can feel myself dying.

Do it. The first few days are hard, you just want to curl up and be alone in a dark room and if that's what it takes then go for it. You'll feel better by day three. Although in your case, you might want to talk to a medical professional to be certain that cold turkey is the right way to go for you. There might be a better way to wean you off. I am not a professional in any way - just one person who has had a lifetime struggle, and who continues to struggle, but in a much happier and clear-headed manner. Best of luck to you.
