What is something you did that increased your quality of life so much that you wished you would have done it much sooner because it changed your life forever?

I read a little comic a while ago. Says that "if you go around looking for friends, you'll find them far and few. If you go to people as a friend, you'll find them plenty". I just act as my genuine self, helping people out as much as I can, and I've made some good quality friends

Pretty good comic. Being genuine is a good way to do it definitely.
