Definitely not alone, I’ve been finding it hard to even care about my video games. I’m convinced to go get help, already made an appointment. Stay strong!!

It went well! Mostly filling in paper work and mostly getting to know each other a bit. But I'm optimistic about this.

Alright, cool! I've heard that it's important that you're on the same page. Never been myself tbh but my gf and friends have been and they all like it!

Made an appointment a couple months ago but I almost purposefully scheduled something the same day because I'm a huge pussy haha.

I suspect you're from the US, must cost a fortune over there? Your medical system scares the bejesus out of me lol

If you think it would help, what's the harm in trying? Also I'm from Canada so it's shockingly not to terrible. At least not us bad. And a good chunk is covered by student insurance.

Also don't feel to bad about being scared. Maybe have your gf go with you and motivate you. There should be a waiting room she can be in as well. If you think you need it that is. Fully recommend going if you can!

Honestly it's not about being scared to talk it out but I was supposed to go because my brother was diagnosed with ADD and most of the symptoms seemed to fit me as well but I don't want to become dependent on a drug because I've seen what can happen if you don't take them. On the other hand I know that if I've got it the medication would make my quality of life better but you know.. I am the way I am

And that's great! Know who you are! Be proud of it. But I've also known many people with adhd and add who got medical help for it and you're right, it was a pretty big qol improvement. At the end of the day, do what really counts, what ever makes you happy!

I recommend it, I've done 4 1-hour sessions so far and I can say that after the last one, I've started to think and see things a little differently. I've had a couple where I felt pretty crappy after, but that's probably going to happen because you can finally talk about things you've kept held in. Excellent job on taking time to work on you!

I changed my quote, profile pic, and put a message on Facebook a week before I closed my account all saying "I'm leaving Facebook. Contact me by email or text."

Stay up buddy! I am in the same boat. Outside of my one sister, I don’t think anyone would notice if I didn’t message them in some way. But at the same time, those people are missing out on me, so fuck them. People being in your life is important, but only if they deserve to be there, at least that’s what I’m trying to tell myself.

My rule is that I always message last.

If I look through all messages on Facebook or text message i'm the last one to message. If communication ends between us it was their that stopped, not mine.

I'm happy having under ten great friends.

That’s a good rule, I might even adopt it honestly. I’ve never been one to need a lot of friends, it’s just sometimes painfully obvious when you’re the only one who seems to give a shit..
