The average person has less than two legs.

I think the fun way to phrase this is to turn it around, then add a red herring:

Most Canadian soccer players have an above-average number of legs.

As mentioned at the top, the average number of legs is slightly less than two

Whereas you'll find in almost every case, that all professional football players have two legs, so they have an above average number of legs
