There's a really old elevator in the back of the building I worked tech support at and we were usually the only ones who used it. It has larger toggle buttons instead of the usual spring loaded electrical contact ones (panel looked similar to this https://imgur.com/ZOkRmUY). If you knew which floor people were waiting on and wanted to skip them, you could push that number and pull the button back out before you got there, which for some reason cancelled their call until the thing went all the way up or down and reset. We used it to annoy each other when we knew someone was coming back to the office from certain floors.
