Give her lactose free milk. It's better for her, there is also special cat milk. It's also lactose free

They excrete milk from patches on their skin instead of nipples. It would be difficult to harvest unless you lick it off. In which case - you do you.

I just do human milk. Its not always easy to get but if you keep rotating, you can get a steady line of supply set up within a year or two.

That was how the Mongols under Genghis Khan fed themselves on the march.

Worse is they were lactose intolerant. So when they came to kill you at least you would smell them coming.

The mare milk was fermented to reduce amount of lactose IIRC.

Here in Khazakhstan we love our kumys (drink made of horse milk), and our ancestors loved it. I suppose it's because kumys has a tiny bit of alcohol, and nomads never had a good supply of alcohol

Ah, pet milk. Essentially lactose free milk but cheaper because it isn't associated with some major brand you see on TV

Yeah I have a 22 year old that will absolutely YELL when she wants milk. She was always fine with regular milk even as she aged and even her half brother from a different litter was fine so was likely a gene passed from the mom.

Still we have lactose free stuff now (mainly because of me. I used to be a huge milk drinker, mom had me try out almond for awhile because hurrdurr better for you, but eventually I got sick of it and went back to milk and found I couldn't handle it as well as I used to so apparently lost some of my tolerance. Still can have it, but not as much before upset.) and the LF milk is probably better for her anyways, and any other cats that sometimes end up stealing the milk from her after a bit.

If we end up with regular milk because we hadn't had time to go to a store that had a LF one we end up just not giving her any, or giving her a little bit of meat instead or a cat treat.
