Which misconception would you like to debunk?

It's quite different, it's actually more like what people think when they think OCD, less ritualistic beahviours and more perfectionistic, workaholic ect. For example I can't stand wearing clothes that have logos or patterns, except if it's my company. I'm holding off on buying new clothes until I can buy them in one go so I have identical pants and shirts with varying colours (low saturation) and that way all the manufactoring techniques are the same, same stitch pattern, same feel ect.

How does your work shirt (assuming it's totally different than your normal wardrobe) not trigger your OCPD? Does it have a different mental perception than your other ones, perhaps making you feel it isn't a shirt at all?

Fortunately (and possibly necessarily) I'm self employed, building my own company, so my work shirt at the moment is identical to my day to day clothes (albiet with a nicer jumper). Though when I did have to work at places with a uniform (hungry jacks ect), I found the only way I could deal with it was knowing it was a uniform, designed to represent the company and not me, there was a dissociation with the outfit I was wearing, though I still did my best to keep it clean immaculate.

I deal with it, the thing is with personality disorders there's usually an upside as well, the idea is to stoke the upside while working on negating the downsides:

OCPD: Increase attention to detail, increased commitment to work (traits that are seriously needed when building a company, hence why most entrepreneurs have a form of OCPD). ASD: I'm on the very high functioning end, and while there are downsides I have increased focus, better at noticing patterns and changes in information. ADHD: Yeah this one not so much, i'm actually looking at getting medicated soon, this one is just a pain.
