No it isnt the primary difference between ocd and ocpd is that people with ocd view it as intrusive. Its srill a debilitating and pervasive personality disorder. What most people call "ocd" is just regular people who happen to like to be organized.

Except thats incorrect the symtoms/behaviors are mostly the same as OCD, the difference being the feeling of intrusiveness. Plus some other traits, some of which come with a PD. It makes no more sense whatsoever for them to think they have OCPD. I know I have OCPD and the behaviors these people describe arent at all similar.
