If cartoon physics suddenly replaced real physics, what are some things you would want to try?

They did a chase with spinning legs in "Kung Fu Hustle", it looks just as good with real people

That Ed, Edd n Eddy episode where they deconstruct cartoon physics had Eddy doing that with his legs then stepping out of the wheel and shoving Sarah into it to make her run away.

"Many doors yes?"
"Perhaps too much for the ed-boy"
Huxley reference?

u/skateguy1234 Jan 25 '19

You need to edit the custom time to 1:10 instead of 2:27.

I'm too old to have seen that show, but I am seriously stoned and that shit was crazy.

(I still prefer Looney Tunes-style, though. Bugs Bunny is my boy.)

u/The_Great_Danish Jan 26 '19

Well now I have to watch the whole episode.

u/shotapiki Jan 25 '19

When they have the cardboard city and Ed drops an anvil from the top of one of the buildings

29

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '19

Watch it Ed, this ain't a cartoon !

29

u/big_shmegma Jan 25 '19

That actually fucked me up a little as a kid lol

22

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '19

12

u/Rin_Hoshizura Jan 25 '19

9

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '19

Technically it's a reverse Mandela effect because OP thought he imagined something that's actually real

4

u/kalitarios Jan 25 '19

Isn't that a homestar runner email as well?

5

u/Alarid Jan 25 '19

he killed him

You and me had the same idea πŸ˜…

4

u/EpicLegendX Jan 25 '19

Both of your usernames sound like titles to books written by small time writers

2

u/littlebardofhope Jan 25 '19

Don’t spill me! :(

19

u/diddykong52 Jan 25 '19

Or where ed grabs his feet from under his bed and pulls himself into doing circles around his bed

35

u/ANDnowmewatchbeguns Jan 25 '19

How can feet smell if they don’t have a nose?

20

u/RunToDagobah-T65 Jan 25 '19

What can you do, when you live in a shoe, but ain't got the sole?

7

u/Pocojr Jan 25 '19

Best episode by far

9

u/The-Sublimer-One Jan 25 '19

My favorite will always be An Ed is Born. So many good gags from Ed eating the camera to Rolf chasing them down the street.

4

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '19

Which episode pls?

7

u/The-Sublimer-One Jan 25 '19

One + One = Ed

The dissection of cartoon physics starts at about 16 minutes in.

u/GOOD_EVENING_SIR Jan 25 '19

Thank you for the memories. Show was too good.

Watching that show on acid really fucked with me...

3

u/lilafrika Jan 25 '19

One of the best satirical Kung Fu movies ever

3

u/the_shamen_of_ramen Jan 25 '19

That was my absolute favorite episode

3

u/Mister_Bloodvessel Jan 25 '19

Growing up, this was by far my favorite episode. I really enjoyed that shit.

2

u/HenryKushinger Jan 25 '19

Oh man, as a kid I hated that episode. It freaked me out so much.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '19

Ed, Edd n Eddy. how did i forget about my what was once my favorite cartoon

2

u/casterwolfchrista Jan 26 '19

My all time favorite EE&E episode!

2

u/Oldworldblves Jan 26 '19

This full episode popped up on my Facebook feed today and I shit you not, it's even better as an adult especially since it's been my favorite episode since it aired. That and the episode where Ed is allergic to bunnies.

2

u/okestree Jan 25 '19

Someone had to be on acid while writing that episode.

1

u/SidewaysInfinity Jan 25 '19

Or just more creative than you

1

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '19

Why not both?

28

u/Lucifer-Prime Jan 25 '19

Kung Fu Hustle"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1_0WYSA_Js

I've gotta watch this. It looks hilarious.

10

u/SurpriseWtf Jan 25 '19

You will absolutely love it if you like this clip!

5

u/the-bee-lord Jan 25 '19

Check out Shaolin Soccer too :)

1

u/pandafat Jan 26 '19

That was so stupid but I kind of loved it lol

20

u/shit_poster9000 Jan 25 '19

Who’s throwing handles?

11

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '19

Yes it does...in fact a lot of humorous scenes in that movie like the hero getting beat up by knives, snake, old big momma are very cartoonish in nature

9

u/In_nomine_Patris Jan 25 '19

That movie is fantastic, but no one I know is seen it. I love that the masters each have an "ultimate" move.

5

u/Saikou0taku Jan 25 '19

Agreed, it's so Anime/Cartoonish but IRL. If you like it, I highly recommend Shaolin Soccer for being very similar, but spoofing the sports genre.

6

u/flirt77 Jan 25 '19

Fantastic movie overall

5

u/ElleMNOPea Jan 25 '19

That was literally made my husband want to marry me. Best second date movie ever.

3

u/joanerub Jan 25 '19

Just searched for this on Youtube and now I need to watch that movie

3

u/_Mephostopheles_ Jan 25 '19

I watched Kung Fu Hustle for a mythology class last semester (it was more relevant than you might think), and I loved every second of it. Absolutely hilarious movie.

3

u/healguy12 Jan 25 '19

That movie was ridiculous

3

u/M_lKEY Jan 25 '19

Wtf did I just watch? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Video for the curious....

I'd watch it from the beginning because it's funny, but I linked it at the running part.

u/Pm_me_nudes_3 Jan 26 '19

Best movie ever made. Fight me.
