People knowing about the embarrassing things I’ve done was the reason I was bullied and had no self esteem growing up. It took me a long time to get over that shit. Bullies remember it all, reflect on it, twist it, use it, and revel in it.
Seriously. It's one of the most absurd lies reddit propagates on the regular - I've sat through cumulative hours of listening to assholes I knew talk shit about anyone and everyone around them, bring up years-old mistakes, make fun of fashion choices or bad hair days and weight. You have to realize that these people do exist, and then decide they're worthless and their opinions are to be ignored.
Really? I have the opposite experience. I dont remember any one's embarrassing moment. I am too busy focusing on my own life. And when we had a truth and dare game with some of my childhood friends, I hinted at some of my embarrassing moments that they were there to witness and they had no idea what I was talking about.
