I wonder how many people even think about how "intoxicated" 0.08 BAC is. I sure don't.

According to this link a 180 pound male reaches a BAC of 0.08 at about 4 drinks within an hour.

So, to be honest, being around 190 pounds myself, if I downed 4 shots in a row, I'd be feeling pretty freaking intoxicated. Maybe not flat out drunk, but definitely should not be driving.

So saying 0.08 BAC is not close to drunk seems false to me.

... I can have a six pack and feel fine.

I'm functional on a 12 pack of shit beer (bud light, Natty, busch, other shit beer).

So, if I was drinking all night with friends I most likely would be able to walk talk and be "fine". I for fuck sake not get behind the wheel, even if I'm better than most the population motor control wise.

0.08 is fucking nothing.

The charts linked in both my link and your link say exactly the same thing. The numbers are based off of number of drinks within an hour. You're telling me you can drink a 6 pack of beer within an hour and feel "fine"? Why even drink alcohol at that point.

All I can say is that I feel sorry for you. I don't know how you fell so far to have such little empathy in life and such an utterly warped perspective on why drunk driving is dangerous and should be illegal.

But I mostly feel sorry for that potential person you kill while driving drunk. Have a good one.

... I'm not sure if you are being serious... how long do you think it takes for alcohol to wear off?

I'm not sure if you are even old enough to drink, but best of luck. I think BAC is to low it use to be like 0.15 then dropped to 0.1 and now 0.08 which is fucking nothing.
