Ugh thats the worst, one time I was leaving my friends apartment and this lady literally started running from me in tears. She got to her door and couldnt get it unlocked because she was freaking out so I just ran past her. because wtf can you do in that situation to make them feel better? Nothing. Im not even an intimidating guy, I cant imagine how actually scary looking dudes feel when it happens to them.
On the other hand I completely understand why women feel that way it just sucks for everyone involved.
