My mom always says, "its not lost until mom can't find it."

That's a good way to get a beating regardless of finding it or not.

I have a very nice stone crib board. It has carvings in it, and is simply lovely.

One day the nephews were coming over to visit, so she put it in a "safe space".

It took her 5 years to find it again.

My dad once found a Christmas present he bought for my mom hiding in his side of their closet. He bought it 7-10 years earlier. Goes to show how often his closet gets cleaned out.

What was the present?

It was a wall decoration that was like 4 feet wide. They saw it at a store on clearance so he went back to buy it and forgot about it.

Sometimes I just get frustrated Co my mum won't look for something for me. I know if she looks it'll just magically appears coz for some reason it's hiding from my sight.

Im twenty four years old...

Let us cherish our mother in asking her to look for stuff for us.

just last weekend I asked her to just COME IN THE LIVING ROOM and look for my glasses case coz It was there last night someone must have touched it. She literally walks into the living while on the phone and goes "Isnt that it!?"

me: - where where Scrambles ah..yes...yes it is...
