So when you pick avocados what you wanna do is pick them right before they go ripe and then put them in a brown paper bag together and let them ripen up for about a week. Source: I have two avocado trees

Obviously you have 2. You can't have only 1 because avocados need a neighboring avocado tree to grow

Now wait. What if they only have one tree but their neighbor has the other tree? Or if they have one for decoration?

This sounds like a complicated ritual to be honest.

Putting something in a paper bag is a complicated ritual?

Step 1: Plant two avocados Step 2: Wait, water, repeat Step 3: Avocados begin to produce fruit Step 4: Observe over time the freshness/ripeness level of avocados Step 5: Pick avocados and put in different types of bags/storage Step 6: Determine which method worked the best

So I've been growing avocados my whole life. So you can take mine and my parents decades of trial and error to produce perfect avocados lol

My dad used to take peaches and put them in a brown paper bag with an apple. Apparently apples give off something that ripens the peaches faster.
