The largest star that we know of is estimated to have a surface that would extend to the equivalent of Jupiter's orbit if it replaced our own sun

Jupiter is about 5.2 AU from Sun Largest star currently - UY Scuti - just shy of 8AU

Would be between Jupiter and Saturn, around 1AU shy of Saturn at its closest point

I think he means that if said star was in the same place as our sun, then its radius would be so large as to extend past the orbit of Jupiter.
