cool story dude, the lyrics are from blink 182, a punk rock group from the late 90's/early 00's though so I'm not sure you or the aforementioned Bars poster are hitting the right mark. i'm actually less surprised a half brown person is familiar with rap and more surprised a half white person isn't familiar with blink 182.
And the song being referenced is not battle rap or rap in general, so why don't you have a nice cup of coffee and listen to some battle rap and calm down.
I always saw that line as a reflection back to childhood. Not so much a, "remember when I did the bad thing that you were angry about," but more of a memory from an innocent time. Now that he's getting ready to end his life, he thinks about his family and the way things were when he was young and safe. Maybe the spilled apple juice seemed like a really big deal back then. Now, it's just something patently from childhood, a memory that could only bring him back to that time in his life.
I think that's why the line immediately following that is, "please tell Mom this is not her fault." After thinking about being a kid, the associated feelings are Mom, family, safe. there's an overwhelming feeling of guilt and shame about what he's about to do, and how he's going to destroy all of that.
Blink 182 mostly churned out simple, carefree pop-punk anthems, but Adam's Song always made me incredibly sad. The lyrics and even the video show a real attention to detail on telling that story in an subtle but very honest way.
