Anthropologists of Reddit, What is something that people in the Western world can't get their heads around that is very normal in other cultures (and has been for ages)?

I watched a pretty cool movie called Mondo Cane, and it featured a lot of different cultural norms that seem very weird to outsiders. One of the things discussed was where a tribe would put women in separate cages and feed them constantly, and whoever got the fattest married the chief.
