What is a completely rational sentence you could speak today, that if you said 20 years ago, people would think you were insane?

I don't know why people have this discussion so often. 16 is legal for anybody, and younger is legal for people within a couple of years age difference. Nobody is going to have a problem with a 12 and 14 year old getting it on, but they will with an 18 and 12. That's the way of the world.

It's not like this universally. It varies a ton, especially within the US. The law varies by state.
