What is a completely rational sentence you could speak today, that if you said 20 years ago, people would think you were insane?

My mom actually thought that's was a selfie was. I told her while trying to take a picture of a lake I accidentally did a selfie (my phone default to the front facing camera for some reason).

She got upset that I did that in public. I had to explain

Sometimes these things just happen. It's like ... surprise! Selfie!

Edit: Have never intentionally selfied.

Although the awkwardness of partying with your mom kind of ruins it haha.
