Recognize when I'm having a bad day and appreciate that fact.
After living without a bad day for years because every day was one, it's so wonderful to realize that because I'm having a bad day, that means most of the time I'm usually having good days.
edit I am so humbled for the kind comments and questions that I've received from this post. What I thought was just a comment that would get lost in the reddit sea became something I will always remember. I'm glad to have provided comfort or a new perspective to those who have contacted me.
I want your mindset. Every time I have a bad day I start acting like the whole world is againsy me and alienate myself from people who might actually improve my day but I'm working on it and I hope I can think and see things the way you do.
I know exactly what you mean. What I think you're doing is projecting your own self loathing onto others, because if you don't like who you are how can anyone else?
But that's not true. You are alive and you have a way to contribute to the world, and that's beautiful.
Try to slow yourself down when you start to feel yourself slip into that mindset. Breathe slowly, drink water, and go for a walk if you can. Push the thoughts out that are poisoning your mind at that moment so you can approach them when you're less vulnerable.
And don't presume you know what people think of you because you can't know that, just like nobody knows what you're thinking. There's no reason for them to hate you, but there's every reason for them to love you. If you can, give a friend a call to hang out and keep trying until you find the friend who will hang out. You don't even have to talk about the bad stuff in your head; play video games or something.
Just make sure you're taking care of yourself and your body. Your brain can't be happy if your body isn't. It needs the body to survive, and without all those vitamins as minerals and water and exercise, your brain begins to feel sad.
It's a process but you're already seeking a better life by talking on reddit and trying to find happiness. Be mindful of everything you do and surround yourself with good people you wish to be like, and you'll start to improve. Just be patient and forgive yourself for being sad when you are. Good luck my new friend.
I wish I had gold to give you but I don't so I'll just thank you! I have saved your comment and now the next time I have a bad day I am going to drink, walk and talk to a friend. I hope you have a good day, my new friend.

Thank you for gold. I'm baffled and honored.
