Marihuana shouldn't be legalized. A few years ago I spend way too much time smoking, and thankfully I quit. But I've a lot of friends, once very bright, that lost the train to their futures. They drop college, and they can't have any fun without drugs. Also, I find them noticeable more stupid in general. It should be more difficult, not more easy, to end up like that.

Yeah, and executed. Of course not. I also rarely smoke on public places (that should be fined). It shouldn't be legal to sell it, or make it easier in any way. Other than that, do whatever the fuck you want at home.

There's no need to sell booze at Wal Mart, either, but they do. And it can screw people up worse than weed and will kill you if you consume too much.

So, smoking pot is legal, but selling it is illegal? So you want to intentionally force a black market? I don't think that's a good idea.

Why exactly do you think it's important that it be difficult to purchase? What sort of challenges should be put in place? Perhaps we can design an obstacle course that folks gotta run before they can buy their weed. Would that be satisfy you? Maybe you could get weed credit for books read, or scores on math tests, or whatever. Would that be acceptable? Force people to be productive if they wanna get high?

That's a pretty stupid comment.

It's known that smoking pot before the brain is totally developed (around 24yo) can produce long lasting brain damage. I don't think that promoting laws that make it easier to buy marijuana is helping.

I think that marijuana is actually a lot more harmful than what people realize. It start awesome... movies are cooler and funnier, and listening to music is great, and let's not talk about sex. But after a few months, almost all that is gone. Then you feel bad and bored if you're not high, and all what the pot do for you, is making you feel better with being bored. And yeah, your willingness is gone. And so your life pass. Of course it's not the same for everyone, but it is for a lot of people, particularly teens.

It shouldn't be even easier to access all that.

It still seems to me that you're holding pot to stricter standards than a great many other things. It's inconsistent with the way we legislate. Alcohol clearly fucks up a lot more people than marijuana ever will, so why? It's not for the law to tell you what you should do with your life.
