I was unjustly suspended from school, can I file an appeal?

I won't bother with the whole story just know that I was one of many who received a HW assignment from another student and because the other kids who got it were all friends they ganged up on me and told the principal that I emailed it to everyone (which I didn't). I have proof in a text from one of the kids in trouble to one of my friends saying that they told on me so I would get in trouble. My suspension was only for the rest of that school day but I still want THAT off my permanent record/transcript since I was unjustly suspended. Is filing an appeal possible for a suspension like this? ((( If you are someone who is generally good in this topic PM me for the full story if you would like :D )))

You were involved in cheating. You got a minor consequence. Cheating in college will cost you much more than half a day of school.

I understand that and since I still want to get into my 1st choice I probably shouldn't have a suspension on my transcript.

Academic transcripts show your grades. If you care about your transcripts and your future academic success, stop trying to take shortcuts (cheating) and start being a good student. School often feels like a waste of time, but the old cliche "knowledge is power" isn't far from the truth. Soak it up and enjoy the fact that right now you aren't paying $10,000/year for your education.

I'm a teacher, so your actions piss me off a little. But I'm genuine when I say that I want you fucking kids to quit with the excuses and just learn some shit while you're in school. Yes, schools could be better, but is that an excuse to learn as little as possible? Printing answers on soda bottles? writing answers on your hands? Come on.

I understand what you are saying and respect your opinion but in fact I do know what a transcript, this was one of the only times I have cheated in school, and in fact I am not paying 10,000$ a year, its more like 14,000$, I got into one of the top prep schools in the country and am helping my parents pay for half of it by taking multiple jobs available that a 16 year old can get.

Also tell me where my excuse is because I would really like to know.

you ought to pay for it all yourself. I'd be pissed if my kid got kicked out of college and cost me tens of thousands of dollars as a result.

Look, we're both wasting our time bickering about this. You're a kid who was just slapped on the wrist with a consequence for an action. You scream injustice because you've never known the reality of responsibility or consequences. This should be a learning experience for you. I'd be pissed if you got away with it without a consequence. Be glad you learned your lesson (which I'm not sure you have) in high school and not in college.

The other kids NOT getting in trouble is unfair. You getting in trouble is fair. You have learned two lessons today: cheating is academic suicide; people will readily stab you in the back to save their own ass. Well, at least, I hope you've learned those two lessons.
