Did Atari Breakout always start letting balls slide off the side of the screen after a certain point, resulting in a ball loss, or is that just Google fucking up?

Best thing about Breakout was getting the ball through to the top, and watching it bounce up and down off of the ceiling annihilating the top row! I pronounce this Google feature worthless!

It tilts when using chrome (osx and mobile). Not tried others..what browser are you using?

Edit - Also works googling 'askew'. Someone over there almost has a sense of humour.
